KOT QR is designed to work without accounts. We do not ask you to register, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Whatever you type into the generator (a link, WiFi password, contact details, and so on) is sent to our server only to render the QR code image. The generated file is written to a temporary folder and is automatically deleted after one hour. We do not keep a copy of the data you entered.
If you add your own logo to a QR code, that image is processed to build the code and is removed together with the generated file.
We use a single session cookie so the generator can remember your choices while you are on the page. It expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and troubleshooting.

KOT QR lets you generate QR codes free of charge. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You keep all rights to the QR codes you create here. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes without attribution or licence fees.
You agree not to use KOT QR to create codes that point to malware or phishing pages, that impersonate another person or business, that distribute illegal content, or that are used to defraud or mislead people. You also agree not to attempt to overload, probe, or disrupt the service.
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue it at any time.
Generated files are deleted automatically about one hour after creation. Please download and keep your own copy of any code you need. We cannot recover a file once it has been removed.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or from a QR code you generated with it. You are responsible for checking that each code scans correctly before you print or publish it.
